Why it matters that it doesn't dry out the skin
If you shower twice a day because of the heat, or wash your hands many times throughout the day, the cleanser touches your skin more than any cream. The more aggressive surfactants also strip away the lipids that the skin uses to retain water, and the feeling of tightness after bathing is the sign. A gentle base and a skin-neutral pH reduce that effect. If you also want less plastic packaging in the bathroom, the solid format solves that.
How to choose
- Less plastic in the shower: solid shower gel.
- Travel and gym: the 50 mL mini shower gel.
- Home or office washbasin: 190 mL liquid soap.
- The scent: algae and marine, coconut, mango, olive, or vanilla. If you like one, you can also find it in body or hand cream.
Solid shower gels
They are formulated soap-free and sulfate-free, with a skin-neutral pH, so they cleanse gently without drying. They contain sweet almond oil and glycerin, a humectant that retains water on the surface, and they create a generous and creamy lather. They come in 100% recyclable cardboard packaging. There is Wild Algae and Sea Fennel, Mango and Coriander, Coconut, and Bourbon Vanilla. The bar lasts longer if it dries between uses: that is what the Metal Soap Dishis for, made for these gels.
For travel
The Algae Evasion Mini Shower Gel 50 mLhas a sulfate-free cleansing base and soft lather: it cleanses and perfumes without dehydrating, with the marine fragrance of the Brittany coast.
Liquid hand soaps
The 190 mL versions are sulfate-free and dye-free, and their lather cleanses and perfumes without drying. There is Wild Algae and Sea Fennel, Olive, with bitter orange essential oil, Coconut, and Vanilla, with Bourbon vanilla. The brand recommends a moisturizing hand cream after washing; they are available under Hand Cream.
For after the shower, the body milks and butters are available under Body Care.
