Concentration and notes: how to read a perfume
An Eau de Parfum contains a higher fragrance concentration than an Eau de Toilette, and an Eau Fraîche contains less than both: that is why the former lasts longer on the skin and the latter feels light. Notes do not evaporate at the same time. Citrus notes come out first and fade quickly; woods, patchouli, or sandalwood remain at the end. Try it on your skin and wait a while before deciding.
In hot weather or for everyday wear, fresh and citrus fragrances feel light. For a cold night in the savanna or a special occasion, chypre, woody, and spicy scents have more presence.
How to choose
- Start with the family (citrus, floral, chypre, woody) and the notes you already like.
- Check the intensity: an Eau Fraîche is fresh and light; a high-intensity Eau de Parfum lasts and is more noticeable.

Eaux Fraîches
Inspired by the botanical garden of La Gacilly, in Brittany. Verveine and Thé Vert have a fresh intensity, with 98% ingredients of natural origin and alcohol of plant origin.
Men's fragrances
